While AC Milan hosted Newcastle at the San Siro last week for their start in the Champions League, the Rossoneri could not do better than a draw against the Magpies. Worse, the Milanese club lost one of its executives at the end of the match. Mike Maignan actually injured his thigh while his teammates were attacking. The trainers even had to intervene before the French goalkeeper was immediately replaced by Marco Sportiello. Very bad news for the Lombard team…

But ultimately, the Blues goalkeeper is already recovered since he was able to participate in the first training sessions this week with AC Milan. Mike Maignan even participated in the entire collective session which was planned for Monday. Other good news, Théo Hernandez, also affected against Newcastle, has also returned to training with his teammates. After their narrow victory against Hellas Verona, the Milanese should therefore be able to count on all their French players for the trip to Cagliari.
