Little by little, calm returns to OM after the last few tumultuous days. Marcelino also paid the price. Already looking for a new coach to replace the Spaniard but also to replace Jacques Abardonado, who is currently acting as interim coach, the Olympians contacted Christophe Galtier. The former Paris Saint-Germain tactician has never hidden his love for Marseille, having been born there in 1966. But after a stint in the capital, will he be accepted by Marseille supporters? The leader of the Dodger’s group of ultras from Marseille would not necessarily be against it.

Guest on the set of BFM MarseilleChristian Cataldo spoke about a potential arrival of Galtier in the south-east of France. “You should never judge someone before they have proven themselves. I don’t really like him. But then, I didn’t really like Sampaoli at first. I was the first to rebel when there were the whistles against Tudor in the first match of the season. If Galtier comes, I won’t whistle at him, he would be OM coach.”he says, before addressing the stories of racism in which the ex-Parisian is involved. “That’s why I think he won’t come, we’re not going to take a coach where there are suspicions. I hope that management will be lucid enough to sort out fact from fiction.”. As a reminder, on December 15, Galtier will be judged for “moral harassment and discrimination based on membership or non-membership, true or supposed, to a specific ethnic group, nation or alleged race or religion.”
