First goal and first away victory of the season for Strasbourg, who dominated Metz (0-1) on Sunday in the Grand Est derby, counting for the 6th day of Ligue 1.

A setback for FC Metz. While they remained in four consecutive matches without defeat (two wins and two draws), the Lorraines came up against neighboring Strasbourg at home during the Grand Est derby (0-1), Sunday as part of the 6e day of Ligue 1.

The situation settled at the end of the match for the Alsatians, who made the difference thanks to Habib Diarra (83e), well shifted by Angelo, on their only shot on target. Enough to leave regrets for Messins, who dominated (12 shots against 4) but too timidly to hope for better.

In the standings, this first away success allows Patrick Vieira’s players to temporarily settle in fourth place with 10 points, ahead of OM and PSG who will face each other in the evening. The Garnets, for their part, occupy ninth place, two lengths from their rivals.
