Arriving on tiptoe from Dinamo Batoumi in the summer of 2022, Kvicha Kvaratskhelia literally broke the screen with Napoli. For his first season in Italy, the Georgian left winger finished the season with 12 goals and 10 assists on the clock, winning the Scudetto so coveted by the Partinopei since the Diego Maradona era (1987 and 1990). Logically, many European big names, like Newcastle and Real Madrid, tried to approach the 22-year-old player.

However, Naples has managed to retain its Georgian jewel. While he is currently playing in the Euro 2024 qualifiers with Georgia, Kvicha’s father and agent Kvaratskhelia sealed the player’s future during an interview with the Neapolitan media Calcionapoli24.“I want fans to know that Kvicha does not want to change clubs and that he will give everything for Naples. We are very grateful. Here in Georgia many support Real Madrid, but I am sure that when the Spaniards face Napoli in the Champions League, everyone will be cheering for the Azzurri., said Badri Kvaratskhelia. The message has gotten through!
