Big comeback in the ranking of European top scorers. While the championships have slowly resumed for a few weeks, it was time to make the first weekly review of the season. We will find the scorers who shook the nets in Germany, England, Austria, Belgium, Scotland, Spain, France, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine. Winner of this ranking last year, Erling Haaland is still off to a flying start. Manchester City’s Norwegian striker has started strong again and remains on a hat-trick in a 5-1 festival against Fulham. He now has 6 goals in 4 matches for the Sky Blues.

Just behind is another scorer from a club that plays in sky blue, Mateo Cassiera. Silent against CSKA Moscow (1-1) during the shock of this Sunday, he still posted 6 goals in 7 league matches. He is narrowly ahead of Kylian Mbappé who takes the podium. The French striker made the talk again last night against Olympique Lyonnais in a 4-1 victory. With a new double, here he is now credited with 5 goals in 3 matches, which allows him to place himself at the top of the rankings.

Serhou Guirassy and Lautaro Martinez in ambush

At the foot of the podium, we find a familiar face from Ligue 1 with Serhou Guirassy. The former player of Amiens and Rennes, now in Stuttgart, comes out of a solid double against Friborg which also allows him to display 5 achievements in 3 games. He played more minutes than Kylian Mbappé but less than Lautaro Martinez who comes fifth. The Argentinian striker has identical stats and saw double yesterday against Fiorentina in a 4-0 win. Sixth place went to Greek Vangelis Pavlidis, again decisive with AZ Alkmaar. His double against Vitesse Arnhem allows him to find himself at the same level as his predecessors in the standings.

Seventh, Santiago Gimenez, another Eredivisie player, distinguished himself with a double against Utrecht (5-1) with Feyenoord. He now has 5 goals in 4 matches. It’s as much as Jude Bellingham, the only midfielder to feature in this ranking. The young Englishman plays with Real Madrid and his last achievement was decisive against Getafe (2-1). The interim at the forefront of the Union Saint-Gilloise attack is perfectly ensured by Dennis-Yerai Eckert Ayensa. The German striker scored a penalty against Antwerp (2-2) and now has 5 goals in 5 matches. It is as much as Sinan Karweina, tenth in this ranking. The German striker from Austria Klagenfurt scored again in their draw against Austria Vienna (2-2).

At the foot of this top 10, we find Jonathan Okita (FC Zurich) and Maximilian Entrup (Hartberg) who also scored 5 goals but played 6 games. Behind, we find Wissam Ben Yedder (AS Monaco), Mostafa Mohamed (FC Nantes), Evan Ferguson (Brighton), Bryan Mbeumo (Brentford), Kevin Behrens (Union Berlin), Victor Boniface (Bayer Leverkusen), Jonas Wind (Wolfsburg) , Olivier Giroud (AC Milan), Mauro Icardi (Galatasaray), Chris Bédia (Servette), Szymon Włodarczyk (Sturm Graz), Karim Konaté (Salzburg), Nikolas Agrafiotis (Excelsior), Kevin Denkey (Cercle Bruges), Vincent Janssen (Antwerp ), Andreas Skov Olsen (FC Brugge), Paulinho (Sporting CP), Fedor Chalov (CSKA Moscow), Eduard Spertsyan (FK Krasnodar) and Anton Zabolotny (CSKA Moscow) to 4 goals.
