Despite an attractive team on paper, Stade Rennais still lost points in Brest this Saturday (0-0).

Four league days and six points on the clock, Stade Rennais’ record for the time being is not bad, of course, but we could have expected better from a team designated as one of the favorites of the season. After a convincing victory over Metz during the first round (5-1), Bruno Genesio’s men fell into line, held in check successively by Lens (1-1), Le Havre (2-2) and Brest this Saturday (0-0).

Of course, facing the SB29 at the start of the exercise is not an easy task; the Finistère club allowing itself to be ahead of its Brazilian counterpart by one point in the standings, with its seven units on the clock. But with Blas, Le Fée, Matic, Bourigeaud, Gouiri and Kalimuendo on the field at kick-off, Rennes should probably not be harmless. Which was the case today in Brest.
