Arriving this summer at AC Milan from Strasbourg for around 60 million euros, bonus included, Diego Moreira already justifies the investment made by the Rossoneri. The winger once again stood out during the derby against Inter, with two assists and a superb free kick to contribute to his team’s victory. A remarkable debut which also allows him to gradually forget Rafael Leão, who left to join Galatasaray.
Moreira’s numbers already speak for him. In five starts in all competitions, the Portuguese has scored four goals and provided three assists. In the league, he has the same record in six appearances, including four in the starting XI. For comparison, during his first season in Serie A in 2019-2020, Rafael Leão needed 24 games to reach the four-goal mark.
