What a match from Diego Moreira! While AC Milan was already leading 2-1 against Inter in a spectacular derby, the Belgian international decided to showcase his talent a little more. Despite the Nerazzurri’s strong moment after Alessandro Bastoni’s score was reduced, the Rossoneri won an ideally placed free kick at the edge of the area. Already the author of two assists at the start of the match, Diego Moreira took charge of the shot. And the Belgian didn’t tremble. With a perfectly executed shot, the ball passed just over the wall before ending its journey into the back of the net. A magnificent free kick which allows Ruben Amorim’s men to regain a two-goal lead just before the break (3-1).
An achievement which rewards an exceptional first period from Diego Moreira, involved in all three Milan goals. From the 4th minute, the Belgian opened the scoring to Christian Pulisic, before serving Adrien Rabiot six minutes later on a two-man corner. Despite Inter’s reaction, which occurred in the 21st minute, the AC Milan player gave his team some breathing room thanks to this superb free kick.
