Paris Saint-Germain has a string of successes against English clubs and Luis Enrique was questioned this Wednesday evening about the possible psychological advantage that this dynamic could offer his team. With a smile, the Spanish coach responded with humor: “I hope ! It’s a great record. I don’t care about records”. The Spaniard also did not fail to slip a little wink to his interlocutors when talking about PSG’s next trip to English soil.
“We’re going to come back here in a few weeks. We will be happy to see you again”he said, in a reference to the next meeting against Aston Villa, scheduled for December 8. A statement full of mischief which testifies to the serenity of the Parisian coach after this success against Manchester City. It now remains to confirm this dynamic during the next European confrontations, because if the results nourish confidence, Luis Enrique knows that each new meeting represents a different challenge.
