Ligue 1: the nominees for the UNFP trophy for the month of September

This Wednesday, the Champions League offered us some totally crazy matches like Paris Saint-Germain’s prolific victory against Manchester City (4-2) or Real Madrid’s stunning victory against AS Roma. Whether it is the current Ile-de-France leaders of the Champions League or the Merengues (8th), these two teams have been a hit. Seven other teams also won their first two matches.

FC Barcelona (2nd), Aston Villa (3rd), Stuttgart (4th), Liverpool (5th), Sporting CP (6th), Arsenal (7th) and Real Betis Balompié (9th) are credited with six points. As for French clubs, Racing Club de Lens is currently in 19th place with 3 points while Lille is only 34th with zero points. Disappointing, Inter Milan are 29th with 0 points.
