The 2026 World Cup has barely ended, the next World Cup is already talking. The 2030 edition will be jointly organized by Morocco, Spain and Portugal, with three commemorative meetings in South America. But if Fifa has still not officially designated the stadium which will host the final, Fouzi Lekjaa seems to already know the verdict.
During a meeting organized by the Authenticity and Modernity Party in Bouznika, the boss of Moroccan football displayed maximum confidence regarding the future stadium for the final. Annoyed by the information regularly making the Santiago-Bernabéu the big favorite, he directly targeted the Spanish press, cited

Fouzi Lekjaa didn’t stop there. The Moroccan leader has already planned the ideal poster for this historic final.
“What you need to know is that the Hassan II stadium in Benslimane province is where the 2030 World Cup final will take place. And, God willing, the final will be between Morocco and France so that we can take our revenge”he added.
Lekjaa is already dreaming of a Morocco-France final
A clear reference to the last two confrontations between the Moroccans and the Blues in the World Cup. Morocco was eliminated by France in the semi-final in Qatar in 2022, before experiencing new disillusionment against the French during the 2026 World Cup. But despite this assurance, nothing is official yet. Fifa has still not announced the stadium which will host the 2030 final. The Hassan II stadium, currently under construction in Benslimane, could however well have taken a head start.
Last July, The Athletic already indicated that the balance of power had evolved in favor of Morocco. A source close to the Spanish case acknowledged that, eighteen months earlier, it seemed ” impossible “ that the Santiago-Bernabéu lost the organization of the final, before admitting that the Moroccan position was now much more solid. Lekjaa has displayed the same certainty for almost a year. And with the increasingly weakened position of Gianni Infantino, the case could still experience new twists and turns.
