Randal Kolo Muani is far from having made a successful return to Juventus. Installed again in Turin after a convincing first experience, the French international, who lost his place in the French team, is currently struggling to regain the performance which had attracted the Bianconeri leaders and supporters. His debut under the orders of Luciano Spalletti is complicated, with a lack of efficiency in the last gesture and several performances which cast doubt on his ability to establish himself as the true number 9 of Juventus. The Italian technician did not hesitate to put pressure on his attacker, recalling that his talent was not enough and that he had to find more regularity and efficiency in front of goal. Kolo Muani doesn’t want to worry
In an interview given to Corriere della Serathe native of Bondy completely understands Spalletti’s comments and the criticisms against him. “He’s right. When you create so many chances, you also have to know how to make them happen: and after this match, I knew that I had had the right chances. For me, the most important thing is to play. I can play winger, center forward, number 10. I have no problem. Woltemade? We can play together. There is absolutely no problem. I’m not worried about not having scored yet: the team spirit is excellent, the team is playing well and creating chances, the goals will come. I really like Spalletti. It seeks to offer a wide variety of options. We can constantly switch positions, and we have to be very aggressive and quick in transition“, he said.
Back in Piedmont after a disappointing loan at Tottenham, Kolo Muani has big ambitions in Turin, while the leaders have dropped 50 million euros. “My first experience here was wonderful: teammates, staff, supporters, everything was perfect, and I felt at home. Then it was important to come back and finish the job they had started: to bring Juve back to the top, the most important club in Italy, a legendary club. Now we approach the matches one by one, step by step, but I want to score a lot of goals and improve. I’m not the type to dwell on negative thoughts. I strive to immediately forget my mistakes and focus on the next step. As Spalletti says, you always have to be in control. We have to think about the present”. After a complicated start to the season and a counter still stuck at zero, Randal Kolo Muani will have to wake up and it will start on Sunday evening against AC Milan.
