Inter Milan supporters paid tribute to the victims of the attack of July 14, 2016 in Nice, this Saturday, on the occasion of the Nerazzurri’s victory against Naples (3-2). In the stands, the Curva Nord displayed a banner in Italian on which was written: “ 07/14/16: Inter supporters have not forgotten the victims of this cowardly attack. » A strong tribute, more than ten years after the terrorist attack on the Promenade des Anglais, which cost the lives of 86 people.
This gesture is also part of the historic links which unite some of the supporters of Inter Milan and those of OGC Nice. A long-standing friendship exists in particular between the ultras of the Curva Nord and those of the Populaire Sud of Nice, with several signs of support observed over the years. On the occasion of the match against Naples, internal supporters once again wanted to publicly display their solidarity with Nice and to maintain the memory of the victims of July 14, 2016.
