Relaunched at Atlético Mineiro after several complicated experiences in Europe, Reinier returned to his time at Real Madrid in an interview with A.S.. The 24-year-old Brazilian does not hide his disappointment: “It wasn’t at all what I expected, but I think I’ve matured a lot on all levels. » Although he prefers not to return to the reasons for his failure, he has good memories of Madrid and particularly highlights the influence of Raúl, who “taught him a lot”. Above all, he regrets never having had the opportunity to play a season with the first team.
As for a possible return to Real Madrid, Reinier does not rule out this possibility: ” why not ? Who wouldn’t want it? But now is not the time, and I am fully focused on Atlético Mineiro, who believed in me and my football. » The former Madrilenian first wants to regain his best level before considering a return to Europe. He also keeps a major objective in mind: to find the Brazilian selection.
