AC Milan is off to a good start to its season. On the first day of Serie A, the Rossoneri won away from home against Torino (1-2). Returning from his successful loan to Catanzaro in Serie B (22 matches, 6 goals), the promising Alphadjo Cissé opened the scoring for his first start. On a cross from Rabiot, the 19-year-old striker suddenly unleashed a flat foot (64th, 0-1), before leaving his place two minutes later.
Adrien Rabiot then put on the goalscoring costume by taking a cross from Chukwueze at the far post (66th, 0-2). At the end of the match, Che Adams reduced the gap by already scoring one of the goals of the season: an exceptional first-intention volley from a cross, all with his back to the goal (90+3rd, 1-2). In the other evening meeting, Atalanta Bergamo got the better of Sassuolo. Raspadori (6th, 1-0) and Krstovic (65th, 2-1) scored the locals’ two goals.
