The FFF is getting a makeover. The day after the official announcement of the appointment of Zinédine Zidane as the new coach of the Blues, the French Football Federation unveiled the new logo of the French team, definitely a sign of a new era. Gone is the old hexagonal blue coat of arms, making way for a more refined logo centered on the famous golden rooster. The two stars, symbols of the two world titles in 1998 and 2018, obviously remain, while the inscription “France” appears under the rooster. The FFF retains its historical symbols.
“Through a new logo, a redesigned visual charter and a graphic language common to all of its national selections, the FFF intends to support the entry of the French teams into a new sporting cycle, while reaffirming their historical roots and their common identity. This development comes as a new period opens for the French national selections. After announcing the appointment of Zinédine Zidane as the new coach of the French men’s team for the next four years, the FFF is also preparing the next major events for its other selections, first and foremost the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil. This new identity meets several objectives: modernize the current visual identity, better adapt it to digital, marketing and event uses, and offer a common graphic framework for all national selections. It also aims to bring together the logo of the French teams and the rooster worn on the jerseys in order to give greater readability and unity to all media of expression.indicates the FFF press release.
