Loum Tchaouna changes clubs but remains in the Premier League. The 22-year-old French winger officially signed a five-year contract this Saturday with Coventry City, recently promoted to the English elite, where he will be coached by Frank Lampard. The amount of the operation has not been disclosed. A ten-time French international, Tchaouna leaves Burnley after just one season, marked by the club’s relegation to the Championship despite a personal record of three goals and one assist in 32 appearances.
Trained in Strasbourg then in Rennes, where he played his first professional matches before a loan to Dijon, Loum Tchaouna continued his progression in Italy under the colors of Salernitana then Lazio Rome, before joining Burnley in the summer of 2025. In the press release published by Coventry, the Frenchman was ambitious for this new stage of his career. “I will bring my energy, my determination and my leadership to the team. I have played in Ligue 1, Serie A and now the Premier League, the best league in the world, so I have a lot of experience for my young age”he said.
