The 26-year-old attacking midfielder joins Serie A on a loan with a purchase option of more than 8 million euros. Arriving in Marseille last summer from Bournemouth, Hamed Junior Traoré only spent one season in the Olympian jersey. Recruited after a good period with AJ Auxerre, where he had regained rhythm and efficiency, the Ivorian never really managed to establish himself in the Canebière in the long term. Hampered by several injuries, he only played 19 matches in all competitions with OM, for a record of three goals and two assists, statistics insufficient to convince the Marseille management to bet on him for the 2026-2027 financial year.
