Mercato: AJA offers itself “great hope”!

AJ Auxerre formalized the signing of its fourth summer recruit on Thursday, a young 18-year-old striker.

Auxerre continues its summer transfer window and is banking on youth. After recruiting goalkeeper Mamadou Diop (Grenoble), left back Sékou Fofana (Lausanne-Sport) and midfielder Arthur Piedfort (Westerlo), AJA announced Thursday morning the signing of its fourth reinforcement of the off-season.

This is Xiangxin Wei, whom the Icaunese leaders announce as a “great hope of Chinese football”. Aged 18, the striker has signed up for five seasons with the Burgundy team and will wear number 49. Described as
“versatile on the attacking front”he previously played at MZ Hakka.

“Despite his young age, he has already played 28 professional matches in the league: 17 in the first division (1 goal) and 11 in the second. Chinese U16 and U17 international, Xiangxin Wei is therefore coming to continue his career in Europe and the AJA is extremely proud to welcome him and participate in his progress”indicates the club.
