In the absence of Didier Deschamps, who returned to France for his mother’s funeral, it is Guy Stéphan who will lead the France team this Friday during the match against Norway. Present at a press conference today, the DD assistant announced that two players would not participate in today’s training session: William Saliba and Marcus Thuram.

The first, hampered by back pain since the Champions League final, is spared as was already the case a few days ago. He will not participate in the meeting, said Stéphan. “William won’t be here tomorrow. We must refer to the one who replaced him during the last matches (Maxence Lacroix)”. Marcus Thuram suffers from a little pain in his calf. His presence is nevertheless not called into question for the match.
