PSG outclassed Lens this Saturday at the Parc des Princes (3-1). With a double from Mbappé to the key.

It was legitimate to wonder about the reception given by the Parc des Princes to PSG star Kylian Mbappé after the eventful summer observed. Quickly, at the simple announcement of his name by the announcer of the Parisian enclosure, the crack of Bondy could be reassured. The interested party remains the darling of the public and gave it back to him this Saturday evening.

Facing the vice-champion of France Lensois, the hierarchy was respected since the defending champion won 3-1 on behalf of 3e act of Ligue 1. A logical and implacable victory to finally launch the PSG season, after two draws against Lorient and Toulouse. To end a disputed first period despite the still suffocating possession of Luis Enrique’s men and the hyperactivity of the Mbappé-Dembélé tandem, Asensio had the good idea to open the scoring with a nice curling shot from the left at the entrance of the surface, on a shift of Zaire-Emery (1-0, 44e).

The essential thus achieved, Mbappé, after two checks against Samba (30e) and Danso (32e), one after the other, was able to bring its stone to the building. First with a cannon shot following a good service from Hernandez (2-0, 52e). Then with success, and the competition of two deviations from Lens, to add to the score at the end of the match (3-0, 90e+1). Guilavogui will have had the last word for the Sang et Or, also on a deflected shot (3-1, 90e+5), but not enough to tarnish this beautiful and promising Parisian evening which marks the official launch of the PSG season.
