Pavard, it’s going badly

Blocked by Bayern when everything is complete with Bayern, Benjamin Pavard refused to train on Saturday.

Benjamin Pavard is determined to leave Bayern to join Inter. Pending transfer since last May, after deciding not to extend his contract with the Munich team (with whom he is linked until 2024), the French international, long targeted by Manchester United, has agreed with the Nerazzurri.

If the two clubs have agreed on a transfer of 30 million euros plus two bonuses for the 27-year-old player, Thomas Tuchel does not want to release his versatile defender. The German coach is not convinced by the tracks proposed by his leaders. Frustrated by the situation, Pavard goes to the clash since he did not attend Saturday’s training. He had already skipped Wednesday’s session, claiming illness, before meeting his teammates the next day.

Pavard, after 5 seasons at FCB, intends to open a new chapter in his career. He would go from being a very valuable defender at Bayern, as a starting right-back and 4th central in the hierarchy, to starting (indisputably?) to the right of a 3-element central defense in Lombardy. Simone Inzaghi has been waiting for him to make him a starter for a week. It’s been as many days as the player has been waiting to leave.
