The dates of the 2026-2027 transfer window made official

The Professional Football League (LFP) has revealed the dates of the summer and winter transfer window for the 2026-2027 season.

The French clubs are finally settled. While the 2025-2026 season is almost coming to an end, with the last matches being a Coupe de France final between RC Lens and OGC Nice this Friday (9 p.m.) as well as the Ligue 1 Ligue 2 play-offs pitting these same Niçois against AS Saint-Étienne, the dates of the summer and winter transfer window have been made official.

In a press release published this Thursday, the Board of Directors of the Professional Football League (LFP) announced that the summer transfer window for the 2026-2027 season “will begin on Monday June 15, 2026 and end on Tuesday June 1er September 2026 at 7:59 p.m. » The winter transfer window will begin “Friday 1er January 2027 and will end on Monday 1er February 2027 at 7:59 p.m. »

Note that a large part of the summer transfer window falls at the same time as the 2026 World Cup, which will be held from June 11 to July 19 in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
