Barça sent a strong message to Jules Koundé

It was in the air, it is now official: Jules Koundé will not play the Clasico against Real Madrid, scheduled for this Sunday at 9 p.m., on behalf of the 10th day of La Liga. Hit in the left ankle during FC Barcelona’s victory against Betis (5-2) last weekend, the French defender did not recover in time from his sprain.

His absence was confirmed this Saturday by Hansi Flick at a press conference: “Jules Koundé will not be available tomorrow, we do not want to take any risks with him“, explained the German coach. Barça will also have to deal without Eric Garcia and Dani Olmo. To compensate for the absence of Koundé, Flick could line up the same defense as during the defeat against PSG (4-2) in the Champions League.
