The French Football Federation has just revealed the French team’s calendar for next season, and it perhaps has a nice wink in store for us in the event that Zinédine Zidane takes the lead in the selection to replace Didier Deschamps.

The Blues will first host Italy at the Stade de France as part of the Nations League, on Friday October 2, before hosting Belgium three days later again in Saint-Denis. The following month, the French team will welcome Turkey this time in Bordeaux, a city which marked the emergence of the Zidane phenomenon around thirty years ago. The choice of stadiums for the matches in March and June 2027 will be made based on the progress of the Blues.

The Blues’ home schedule:

  • Friday October 2, 2026: France-Italy (Nations League) at the Stade de France (Saint-Denis)

  • Monday October 5, 2026: France-Belgium (League of Nations) at the Stade de France (Saint-Denis)

  • Sunday November 15, 2026: France-Türkiye (Nations League) at the Stade Atlantique (Bordeaux)

  • March 2027 (FIFA period from Monday 22 to Tuesday 30): France – X (Nations League quarter-final or Euro 2028 qualifiers)

  • June 2027 (FIFA period from Monday 7 to Tuesday 15): France – X (Final 4 Nations League or Euro 2028 qualifications)
