Inter crowned in Serie A

Inter beat Parma this Sunday in the 35th round of Serie A (2-0). A victory synonymous with the title of Italian champion.

Inter won the 21st Scudetto in its history this Sunday, thanks to a home victory over Parma – the 26th in 35 days of the championship.

Thanks to Thuram (45th+1) and Mkhitaryan (80th), the Nerazzurri won 2-0 at Meazza to prematurely claim this national coronation – a year after ceding the throne to Napoli.

At the Serie A level, only Juventus has more trophies, with 36 consecrations. Inter are now two lengths ahead of their rival AC Milan, who have won 19 titles.

Cristian Chivu’s men will have the opportunity to score the double on May 13 against Lazio, in the final of the Italian Cup.
