Auxerre clings to the elite
Auxerre dominated Angers this Sunday as part of the 32nd day of Ligue 1 (3-1). Always keeping crampons within reach.

AJ Auxerre won their sixth victory of the season at the expense of SCO this Sunday at Abbé-Deschamps, as part of the 32nd act of Ligue 1.

Thanks to a double from Mara (12th, 61st) and a goal from Sinayoko (67th), the Burgundians got the better of their Angevin counterparts with a score of 3-1 – Koyalipou having saved the honor of the visitors from the penalty spot (78th) while Van Den Boomen had missed the boat in the same exercise at the start of the second half (51st).

Angers, who saw red with Sbai just before the break (45th+1), still remains 13th, six lengths ahead of their opponent of the day. Barragists, the Auxerrois can cede this delicate position to Nice in the event of success in the Gym next week. 17th, five points behind AJA, Nantes on the other hand is almost doomed despite its great victory over OM on Saturday.
