Winner this Saturday against Brighton (3-1), Newcastle returned to success after four losses in a row. Beaten at Brentford (3-0), West Ham relapsed.

The thirty-fifth day of the Premier League continues this Saturday with three matches on the program before Arsenal-Fulham (6:30 p.m.). In the fight for a European place, Brentford won at home against West Ham (3-0). At the same time, Newcastle woke up by winning against Brighton (3-1) while Sunderland shared the points with Wolves (1-1).

The Newcastle Magpies have finally returned to success, having suffered four defeats in a row in the league. And it was against a Brighton team busy aiming for Europe that the locals won. The Toons are provisionally thirteenth, while their victim of the day could lose his seventh place, synonymous with the Conference League.

In great danger in the fight for maintenance, West Ham was able to turn things around with two victories and a draw in their last three matches. Unfortunately for them, the Hammers relapsed this Saturday, losing heavily at Brentford (3-0).

West Ham gives Tottenham hope

A godsend for Roberto De Zerbi’s Tottenham who, if they win on Sunday at Aston Villa, will leave them with their eighteenth relegation place.

And speaking of the red zone, the already relegated Wolverhampton shared the points with Régis Le Bris’ Sunderland, after the Black Cats opened the scoring before being rejoined (1-1). Sunderland remain three points behind Europe.
