According to Marca, this verdict is good news. Mbappé avoids serious injury, although he will miss Sunday’s match against Espanyol, a match which could mathematically secure the Spanish title for FC Barcelona. On the other hand, he could apply for the Clasico scheduled for May 10.
Will Mbappé play again? Not sure
For AS, it is less obvious. According to the other Madrid daily, Mbappé is considered uncertain for the duel against Barça. For Sport, finally, we are rather on the hypothesis of an end of season at club for the Bondynois.
This option is clearly on the table. Left behind by Barça, Real Madrid no longer has much to play for in La Liga. It would be tempting to preserve Mbappé, to avoid worsening his physical condition for the World Cup.
