This could happen this Sunday against Torino if AC Milan does not beat Juventus. In Portugal, FC Porto is very close to being champion. The Dragons are seven points ahead of Benfica and eight over Sporting CP (one game in hand) with only 4 days remaining. In Spain, things also seem to be going well with FC Barcelona who are nine points ahead of Real Madrid even if there is still a Clásico remaining. Both teams still have six matches to play. In Switzerland, FC Thun is almost champion. Yet promoted, the club from the canton of Berne has a 14-point lead over Saint-Gall with 5 days remaining and can obtain the trophy this Saturday against Lugano. In Serbia, Red Star Belgrade is almost champion. With 14 points ahead of Partizan Belgrade with five days remaining, the Serbian club is well on its way to obtaining a 9th coronation in a row, the 12th since Serbia separated from Yugoslavia and then Montenegro. THE Dinamo Zagreb is close to becoming Croatian champion. With five days remaining, the gap is 13 points with the Hajduk Split. Similar situation in Bulgaria where Levski Sofia is on the verge of becoming champion again. The capital club has a 10-point lead over Ludogorets Razgrad with 6 games remaining. A real tour de force since Ludogorets have won the last 14 championships. However, there will still be two confrontations with Ludogorets Razgrad. On the side of Azerbaijan, Sabah Baku is close to bringing down Qarabag with a 13-point lead with 5 days remaining (one match less for Qarabag). An excellent performance that the capital club is putting on, because Qarabag has 11 titles over the last 12 seasons. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borac Banja Luka are 10 points ahead of Zrinjski Mostar with 6 matches still to go. Finally in Cyprus, Omonia Nicosia killed the competition with 13 points ahead of AEK Larnaca and Apollon Limassol with six days remaining.

There is still a little suspense

In Türkiye, Galatasaray seems close to obtaining a 26th national title and the 4th in a row. The Turkish club is 4 points ahead of Fenerbahçe with four matches remaining. However, the fact that the two teams face each other on Sunday at 7 p.m. allows Fenerbahçe to still believe in a victory. Third, six points behind Galatasaray, Trabzonspor are not eliminated, but it promises to be more difficult. In Greece, AEK Athens has a good chance of being champion. With 5 points ahead of Olympiakos with 4 days remaining, the club coached by Marko Nikolic is close to obtaining a fourteenth title, its first since 2023. The suspense remains

On the side of the Francethere is still suspense. With Paris Saint-Germain’s victory yesterday against Nantes (3-0), the Ile-de-France club takes a four-point lead over Lens while the two teams still have five matches to play. However, the two teams will face each other between the 33rd and 34th day in a staggered match. In EnglandManchester City has just beaten Burnley (1-0) and taken the lead in the Premier League. Pep Guardiola’s side have the same number of points and goal difference as Arsenal with five games remaining for both teams. In Belgiumthere are six days of play-offs remaining and two teams are in a good position with Union Saint-Gilloise (1st, 43 points) and FC Bruges (2nd, 41 points). The two teams will face each other once again. On the side of the RussiaZenit Saint Petersburg (1st, 56 points) has just regained the advantage over FK Krasnodar (2nd, 54 points) who have a game in hand this evening against Spartak Moscow. There will then be four matches remaining for the two teams to decide again. In Austriafive clubs can still obtain the title. Double defending champion, Sturm Graz (1st, 29 points) has its destiny in hand, but four teams are in ambush with Red Bull Salzburg (2nd, 28 points), LASK (3rd, 27 points), Rapid Vienna (4th, 24 points), Hartberg (5th, 22 points), Austria Vienna (6th, 22 points). In Ukrainewe have two clubs who can really believe it with 6 days remaining. Long a surprising leader, LNZ Cherkasy (2nd, 51 points) has just been overtaken by Shakhtar Donetsk (1st, 57 points) who have just won two games late but have a difficult schedule. For the first time since 1992 and Tavriya Simferopol, we could have a different champion from Dynamo kyiv and Shakhtar Donetsk. Possible historical scenario also in Scotland while there are 5 matches remaining and the top three will still face each other. The surprising Hearts of Midlothian (1st, 70 points) leads the way ahead of Glasgow Rangers (2nd, 69 points) and Celtic Glasgow (3rd, 67 points). The last two have monopolized the league titles since Aberdeen in 1985.

At Denmarkthe title race is relaunched after Midtjylland’s victory this Monday against Aarhus. Arhus has two points on its pursuer while there are still 5 matches to go and the two teams will meet once again. Both teams play this Thursday. In Polandfifteen teams can potentially be titled with 5 days remaining, but seven are really involved. Short advantage for the outgoing champion, Lech Poznan (1st, 49 points), but which does not really have a margin over Jagielonnia (2nd, 46 points), Gornik Zabrze (3rd, 46 points), Wisla Plock (4th, 45 points), Zaglebie Lubin (5th, 44 points), Rakow Czestochowa (6th, 43 points) and Katowice (7th, 43 points). On the side ofIsraelthere are still nine matches remaining, but two teams have broken away. Thus, Hapoel Beer Sheva (1st, 62 points) and Beitar Jerusalem (2nd, 60 points) will engage in a long-distance fight. Quite similar scenario in Hungary where Györ (1st, 62 points) threatens the outgoing champion Ferencvaros (2nd, 59 points) while there are still three matches to go. In Romaniasix teams can still obtain the title since only nine points separate Universitea Cluj (1st) and FC Arges (6th) with five days remaining. Advantage nevertheless to Universitea Cluj (1st) and Universitea Craiova (2nd) who are tied and have five points ahead of Cluj which is third. At Luxembourgwe have a hell of a fight at 5 with five days remaining. Thus, Differdange (1st, 55 points) has a short advantage over Bissen (2nd, 52 points), Dudelange (3rd, 51 points), Mondorf (4th, 50 points) and UNA Strassen (5th, 49 points). Suffice to say that the next confrontations will be important.
