Determined to evolve at PSG this season, Kylian Mbappé should speak after the meeting between PSG and Lens on Saturday evening at the Parc des Princes. To announce an extension until 2025?
Already two months after his last public statements on his future at PSG, while he was with the France team, Kylian Mbappé will once again explain himself. According to France Blue Paris, the tricolor prodigy should speak in the wake of the Ligue 1 clash between PSG and RC Lens, Saturday evening at the Parc des Princes. It could be live on Canal+ Foot (co-broadcast on Canal+ Sport 360), at a press conference after his coach Luis Enrique or even in the mixed zone.
If Mbappé resumed training with the first team before starting his season last Saturday in Toulouse (scoring from the penalty spot), his situation at PSG is still unclear. The crack from Bondy refused to activate the optional 3rd year which appears in his contract, remaining bound until 2024, and its president Nasser al-Khelaïfi then excluded him from the club’s tour of Japan and Korea from the South, pending an offer from Real Madrid (at 250 million euros) which never came.
In this showdown, Mbappé has always affirmed his intention to play for the Rouge et Bleu this season. His reinstatement would have been accepted after the renunciation of his XXL bonuses, amounting to 100 million euros. And the leaders of the club held by Qatar have accepted this outcome hoping for the signing of a new contract until 2025 or even beyond. At least on Saturday evening, we suspect that the top scorer of the 2022 World Cup will not announce his departure for Real Madrid.
