PSG’s victory in the Champions League this season certainly weighs heavily. As in the race for the Ballon d’Or, the Parisians appear in force among the candidates for The Best trophy awarded by FIFA.
In addition to the 2025 Ballon d’Or Ousmane DembĂ©lĂ© – once again the big favorite in the votes open to the public until November 28, midnight – Achraf Hakimi, Vitinha and Nuno Mendes are among the 11 finalists designated by the parent company of world football.
Donnarumma and Luis Enrique also named
A second player from the France team is also cited, in the person of Kylian Mbappé, the only member of Real Madrid selected. Three Barcelonans are also in the running: the prodigy Lamine Yamal of course, accompanied by Raphinha and Pedri.
Note that Gianluigi Donnarumma is one of the eight goalkeepers contending for the title of best goalkeeper of the year. Luis Enrique was named in the category of best coach, like six other strategists.
