How we meet again. In recent years, Paris Saint-Germain has regularly crossed paths with Bayern Munich. The last time was July 5, 2025 during the quarter-finals of the Club World Cup in the United States. Having just been crowned European champions, the Parisians won 2-0 against the Germans. Four months later, the two giants of European football meet at the Parc des Princes in the championship phase of the UEFA Champions League. And we can say that this clash will clearly be worth the detour since it will pit the title holders against the team in form of the moment on the Old Continent.

For this meeting, Luis Enrique will not be able to count on all his players. Désiré Doué, who has taken up residence in the infirmary for a longer period than expected, will not be there. Suspended, Illia Zabarnyi is also not at the disposal of Lucho, who will a priori bet on a 4-3-3. In the cages, no surprises since Lucas Chevalier will start the match. The French goalkeeper knows he is expected and intends to respond well to the Rekordmeister. To protect him, he will count on a line of four composed, from left to right, of Nuno Mendes, Willian Pacho, Marquinhos and Achraf Hakimi.

Luis Enrique and Vincent Kompany bring out the heavy artillery

In midfield, Fabian Ruiz, Vitinha and João Neves will line up at kick-off. However, there is some doubt since some media announce Warren Zaire-Emery as the holder instead of Fabian Ruiz. The latter should be preferred to Fabian Ruiz. Finally, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, on the left, and Bradley Barcola, on the right wing, will play in support of young Senny Mayulu. He is the one who should start the match, with Ousmane Dembélé taking his place on the bench after his recent return from injury. Opposite, Vincent Kompany will be without the long-term injured, Alphonso Davies, Jamal Musiala and Hiroki Ito.

For the rest, the Belgian coach should opt for a 4-2-3-1. In front of the legendary Manuel Neuer, we should find Konrad Laimer, Jonathan Tah, Dayot Upamecano and Sacha Boey. To win the midfield battle, Kompany will count on the Pavlovic-Kimmich duo. Up front, Luis Diaz, Serge Gnabry and Michael Olise will play in support of the formidable Harry Kane. The Englishman has already scored 22 goals in 13 appearances in all competitions this season. He will be one to watch closely, just like Diaz and Olise who are in good shape. This should give us quite a shock, to follow live on our site at 9 p.m.
