The massacre continues in Barcelona. While Raphinha, Gavi, Lewandowski and Joan Garcia are still unavailable, another name has just been added to the injured list: Andreas Christensen. RAC1 reports that the Danish international (78 caps) has relapsed, and suffers from a new injury, this time, to his right calf. A physical problem which explains his absence from the group against Olympiakos in the Champions League (victory, 6-1) and against Real Madrid in La Liga (defeat, 2-1), although he had participated in a few collective sessions preceding these two deadlines.
A new setback for the former Chelsea player, who had already experienced a complicated 2024-2025 season, following problems with his Achilles tendon. As a reminder, his contract with FC Barcelona will expire at the end of this season.
