After the slaughter of injuries in the Paris Saint-Germain squad, and while the situation finally seems to be improving with the recent returns of Ousmane Dembelé and Désiré Doué, the capital club does not want to take any risks with these players. PSG is therefore taking advantage of this break from the Champions League to rest one of its executives, Achraf Hakimi.

“In agreement with the sports management and the technical staff, Achraf Hakimi is left to rest. He will resume collective training next Thursday”communicated the club on its social networks. The Moroccan right-back will therefore miss the Ligue 1 match against Lorient, scheduled for Wednesday October 29. Used to helping out at the full-back position, Senny Mayulu could take care of it during this match. If Joao Neves is restored by then, Warren Zaire-Emery could also move back onto the field and occupy this position. For his part, Hakimi will be back for a series of crucial league matches against Nice and Lyon, with a clash against Bayern Munich in the middle, before the international break.
