Returning from injury after more than a month of absence, Ousmane Dembélé found the net following a serve from his partner Bradley Barcola. The Frenchman scores his 3rd goal of the season in all competitions.
After the meeting, the number 10 spoke about his feelings and also about his teammate Vitinha who walks on water at the start of the season. The 2025 Ballon d'Or did not fail to send a strong message to the Portuguese playmaker.
“ I hope, he deserves it given his career. He's still having a very good start to the season, he's only scoring. He’s a friend of mine and I hope he continues like this and wins it one day,” he said in the mixed zone.
Dembélé is coming back little by little
After several weeks of absence, Ousmane Dembélé is indeed back with a goal scored on his first balls. The Frenchman wants to gain strength little by little in order to be efficient and valuable again for the team.
“I came in a bit on tiptoe, I wanted to come in against Strasbourg, but the coach told me to wait a little. I felt very good in this match. A good ball from Bradley (Barcola) and I was able to put it in, I feel good,” he blurted. The Frenchman should play a few minutes again this weekend against Stade Brestois during the 9th day of Ligue 1.
