Winner of the Arab Cup of Champions Clubs last Saturday, Al-Nassr has since lost his first two matches of the season in the Saudi Pro League! It was without Cristiano Ronaldo that the team also led by Sadio ManĂ© lost to Moussa DembĂ©lĂ©’s Al-Ettifaq. Al-Nassr continued this Friday with a meeting against another modest team in the championship, Al-Taawon, and lost 2-0!

Led at the entry score, “CR7” and his teammates were unable to score despite many shots (25, but only 5 frames) against a defense composed of Andrei Girotto. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner passed a huge soap to the referee of the meeting after an unsanctioned tackle on one of his teammates in the opposing area (80th). Al-Taawon scored a second goal after added time.

Al-Nassr has two matches next week, against Al-Alhi in the Champions League play-offs, and against Al-Fateh in the league.
