Paris Saint-Germain should still largely reduce its workforce by the end of the summer transfer window.
The summer of 2023 will certainly remain a major turning point in the QSI era. It marks the end of the galactic period. If Kylian Mbappé should stay at home, Lionel Messi then Neymar Jr have packed their bags to go into exile at the end of the world, respectively in America (Inter Miami) and Saudi Arabia (Al-Hilal). These major departures are not the only ones in the ranks of the capital club. Determined to renew its workforce in large widths, PSG has moved in all lines.
This week, midfielders Leandro Paredes and Renato Sanches were transferred to AS Roma. The Argentinian was transferred definitively for a compensation of 4 million euros, when the Portuguese was loaned with an option to buy. Luis Campos would like to continue to downsize the workforce by September 1. No less than 6 players could pack up before the end of this summer transfer window.
Departures in all lines!
Among the goalkeepers, the horizon is blocked for Keylor Navas, who would have touches in Saudi Arabia. In defense, after Abdou Diallo, it is Juan Bernat and Colin Dagba who could definitely leave Paris Saint-Germain. In the midfield, the young Edouard Michut is also called upon to take up a new challenge. Finally, in attack, Hugo Ekitike should leave Paris just one year after his arrival.
In this wave of departure, one last case is to be set aside: that of Marco Verratti. Announced in Saudi Arabia, the little Italian is at a turning point in his career. But his situation would not be decided internally.
