Verratti's message to Neymar that speaks volumes

His former team-mate, Marco Verratti, has written a heartfelt message to Neymar as he leaves the club after six seasons in the French capital.

Verratti sent a heartfelt message after Neymar’s move to Al-Hilal. The duo spent six years together at the club.

“Just to let you know how great it was to spend all these years together. I love you very much and I wish you the best for the new stage of your life. You are a special person my friend,” wrote the Italian on Instagram.

The 31-year-old joined PSG ahead of the 2017/18 season and spent six seasons with the Paris club. He made over 173 appearances but failed to win the Champions League, reaching the final once. During his time in France, he scored 118 goals for PSG.

The Brazilian superstar will join his new Saudi team and prepare for the next game against Al-Feiha on August 19.
