Diogo Jota death: a donation platform suspected of being a scam

This case reminds us that, often, the greed of people keeps wreaking havoc, even when it comes to paying tribute to a deceased person. This is what is probably going in in England. THE Telegraph reveals that the site of the Diogo Jota Foundation could be a scam.

Indeed, the local media reports that the website's internet page no longer works and that it closed overnight, with all of the donations made. It had been created three days after the accidental death of the Portuguese player in Liverpool and his brother and had collected around € 55,000 in donations. The authorities have looked into this case, while the family of the deceased and Liverpool confirmed that they are not linked to this Internet page.
