Where will Théo Hernandez play next season? For the time being, it is difficult to say, but the left side of AC Milan is one of the many candidates at the start this summer. At the end of a chaotic season, marked by a defeat in the final of the Italian Cup against Bologna (0-1) and a disappointing 8th place in the championship, the Milanese club should, in fact, live a more than eventful summer. If Luka Modric should soon settle down in Lombardy, many departures are expected.

With this in mind, we recently revealed to you that Théo Hernandez should not go after his contract in the summer of 2026. In recent days, an agreement in principle had even been reached between AC Milan and the Saudi club in Al-Hilal. Amount of the operation? 30 million euros. Yes but here, as indicated by La Gazzetta dello Sportinformation that we are able to confirm to you, the player is not inclined to join Saudi Arabia.

End of the Al-Hilal track? AC Milan fears the worst

While Al-Hilal offers him a salary of 18 million euros per year and that Simone Inzaghi contacted him directly to try to convince him, the French international (38 selections, 2 goals) does not seem convinced, demanding in particular more important emoluments (20 million euros). A significant sum which should, except reversal of the situation (or drop in the employee claims of the person concerned), put an end to this file. An outcome which is far from reassuring for the Italian club, however.

Indeed, the famous pink paper newspaper adds, this Saturday, that AC Milan fears today a free departure from its protégé next year. Recruited for nearly 23 million euros in Real Madrid in the summer of 2019, the Marseille native is currently estimated at 40 million euros according to the specialized TransferMarkt site. A sum that AC Milan is logically not ready to give up. As a reminder, Théo Hernandez is released from a season to 5 goals and 6 assists in 49 matches in all competitions.
