Serie A: Naples tames Fiorentina and temporarily takes the lead in the championship

If we announced that to Manchester United supporters in August, some would have believed in a joke. After having led Naples to a fourth title in Serie A in its history, thanks to 12 goals and four assists, Scott MCTOMINAY received this Friday its MVP title from the Italian championship. He succeeds Lautaro Martinez, trophy winner in 2024, and became the first Briton to win him.

Among the other trophies, several clubs were represented. If the best coach is also a Neapolitan with the coronation of Antonio Conte, the title of best hope goes to Nico Paz (Côme) and the best goalkeeper is Mile Svilar (Rome). Alessandro Bastoni (Inter Milan) is crowned best defender, while Tijjani Reijnders (Milan) is named best midfielder, and Mateo Retagui (Atalanta) best striker.
