The prefecture of Seine-Saint-Denis and the security services held their first coordination meeting last week for the Final of the French Cup, scheduled this Saturday at the Stade de France between PSG and the Stade de Reims. Registered at level 3 out of 5 by the National Division to Combat Hooliganism (DNLH), the event does not arouse major concern, but remains marked by a “Risk of public order disorders linked to litigation between supporters or to the usual behavior of certain groups”.

The authorities notably fear scuffles between the Ultras Paris collective (CUP) and former members of the Auteuil turn, historically in conflict, as well as with Ultras Rémois among which some claim the extreme right. The security deployment, designed before the confirmation of the Reims dam route for maintenance in Ligue 1 (go to Metz on May 21, return on May 29), could however be adjusted in order to take into account this last -minute sporting issue.
