Pierre Sage still ignores what the future has in store for him. Free since his departure from Olympique Lyonnais at the end of January, the French coach remains a track mentioned in several Ligue 1 clubs.
According to certain rumors, the Franc-Comtois technician would appear in particular on the tablets of the Stade de Reims and the FC Nantes, currently directed respectively by Samba Diawara and Antoine Kombouaré. In the columns of Progressthe former OL coach spoke of his situation.
Sage wants to take stock
“There have been a lot of noises around Nantes, Reims, Lens, Rennes or even a little Toulouse. At present, they are mainly rumors. The championships will end and things will take shape later. (…) Yes, I had several offers, but I first needed to take stock with what I have just experienced ”, said wise.
The 46 -year -old tactician can however rely on his CV to find a bench. At the head of the Gones, the former Red Star assistant coach directed 56 games, for a balance sheet of 33 victories, 9 draws and 14 defeats.
