Désiré Doué is unanimous this season! The young Paris Saint-Germain player is illustrated in Ligue 1 but also in the Champions League nearly year after his arrival from Stade Rennais.
Only 19, the attacking midfielder became one of Luis Enrique's strong men in a few months. His performances (13 goals, 12 assists in 45 matches in all competitions) allowed him to convince Didier Deschamps and to honor his very first selection in the French team last March.
Aware of the potential of the young nugget, PSG had secured it until 2029 when it arrived. After the player's performances, some rumors indicated in recent times that Parisian leaders wanted to extend the French. A contract binding it to Parisians an additional year with a salary increase up to 500,000 euros gross per month would have been in the pipes, according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri.
No immediate extension for Désiré Doué
Only here, RMC Sport indicates that no negotiation process for a possible extension is underway between the entourage of the player and the leaders of PSG. Although satisfied with the yield of the new prodigy, the Parisian club is said to be concentrated for the moment on its objectives and in particular a victory in the Champions League.
However, even if an extension is not topical, this does not mean that no discussion could take place in the future with the entourage of the French international. Case to follow.
