The price of Harry Kane always so lunar

Bayern Munich remain far from Tottenham’s asking price for Harry Kane, despite a meeting in London over the striker, coveted by Paris.

The German club’s interest in Harry Kane this summer is no secret, but Sky Sports reports that the gap between the two clubs’ valuations is at least £20m, despite a meeting between club bosses in London on Monday.

Spurs are expecting around £100million for their talisman.

Bayern are reportedly ready to break their own transfer record for Kane, which currently stands at €80m for Atletico Madrid’s Lucas Hernandez in 2019. The striker, who just turned 30, no longer has only one year of contract with Tottenham and will therefore be free in 12 months.

Tottenham are reportedly keen to insert a buyout clause into the contract which would allow Kane to return to his boyhood club in the future.

Enough to discourage the Munich club … and PSG.
