After several years under the muse of Nike, Liverpool returned under German pavilion! The leader of the Premier League announced this Monday a contract with Adidas from the 2025/2026 season, the third in the history of the club after a visit from 1985 to 1996, then from 2006 to 2012. An important choice, since many Reds players are already under contract with the brand with three bands, like Mohamed Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Curtis Jones, Darwin Núñez, Alexis Mac Allister or Diogo Jota. “We consider that the jerseys they have worn during our previous partnerships are among our best creations. We are delighted to bring some of these classic designs up to date and offer new products to fans ”developed the CEO of Adidas, Bjørn Gulden.
For Nike, it's a blow, since the club has lost a lot of premier league entities in recent years, and has even lost its contract with the Premier League for the official championship ball, for the benefit of Puma. “All club members are delighted to welcome Adidas again to the LFC family. With Adidas, we have obtained incredible successes in the past and created some of the most memorable jerseys of the LFC. This period is ideal for starting a new collaboration and, by drawing from our common history, we are delighted to design new unforgettable outfits while continuing to chain victories on the ground ”said Liverpool Executive Director Billy Hogan.
