This Sunday evening, Stade Rennais welcomed the LOSC in the closing match of the 22nd day of League 1. From the eighth minute, Samba was illustrated by a decisive parade of the foot following a diakity shot. At the end of the first period, the referee designated the penalty spot after being called by the Var and noted a Wooh hand in the Breton penalty area. Once again, the goalkeeper of the Breton training illustrated himself by blocking the Akpom attempt (44th). The two teams therefore returned to the locker room on a zero and virgin score.

In the second period, Samba continued to do miracles. In particular by making a sublime stop on an improbable shooting center in Bakker (66th). The men of Habib Beye were going to finish the meeting in numerical inferiority.

Bentaleb, the Renaissance

Indeed, Wooh was excluded for having unbalanced Akpom in the position of last defender (75th). The red and black were finally going to flank at the end of the game, after a goal from Bentaleb (0-1, 80th). Victim of heart discomfort in June 2024, the Algerian relay environment had just come into play three minutes before.

Akpom scored the goal of the station wagon of a cross shot from the interior of the right foot (0-2, 86th), allowing the Dogues to ensure victory. Thanks to this success, northerners ideally replace themselves in the race for qualifying places for the Champions League. With 38 units on the clock, Bruno Génésio's men appear in fifth place in the ranking, two lengths from the OGC Nice and AS Monaco.
