The Marseille transfer window is far from over. In the direction of arrivals as in that of departures.

The Olympians transfer window is well underway, with the arrivals of Geoffrey Kondogbia, Renan Lodi, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Ismaïla Sarr, but Marcelino’s squad is still far from over. Unless there is an unexpected departure to be filled, OM are looking to recruit one or two more full-backs, a possible central defender, a goalkeeper – a priori Ruben Blanco – and two attackers – two points who could be Sheffield striker Iliman Ndiaye and the Chilean darling of the Velodrome Alexis Sanchez, who still hesitates to this day in the face of his proposed contract extension.

In the sense of flight, it is certain that Cengiz Ünder, pushed towards the exit by the twirling Ismaïla Sarr, will leave the Marseille nest. This could also be the case of a Chancel Mbemba strangely absent from the summer preparation of the Marseillais until then. Or a Leonardo Balerdi that OM would gladly give up in the event of a good offer. Another almost assured start seems to concern the midfield, where the recruitment of Geoffrey Kondogbia, combined with the return of loan of Pape Gueye, creates a real traffic jam.

The aforementioned Senegalese being suspended for four months by Fifa for his cavalier arrival at the expense of Watford in 2020, it is not he who will move this summer. And probably not Jordan Veretout either. The exit voucher more or less imposed being in fact promised to Mattéo Guendouzi or Valentin Rongier. With no doubt a slight inclination for the first, announced leaving for many months already and still listed in England. Be that as it may, OM hope to make 20 million euros from this possible – even probable – transfer.
