After 24 days, Arsenal remains a serious pretender in the national title. Currently second in the ranking, the Gunners are a delay of six points on Liverpool, leader with one less match. The championship is therefore far from being played.

Indeed, Mikel Arteta's men surf on a good dynamic with three victories and two draws in five games. Better still, they have not conceded any defeat against the members of the Big Four this season, a statistic that could weigh in the balance and put additional pressure on their rivals in the Mersey.

Doubts about the offensive efficiency of the Gunners

Despite this solid assessment, the former Reds goalscorer Robbie Fowler is struggling to consider a coronation of arsenal. According to him, the residents of the Emirates Stadium do not have sufficient offensive force to achieve their objective. In particular, he deplores the absence of recruits this winter and wonders about the yield of Kai Havertz at the forefront of the attack.

“To be honest, he (Havertz, editor's note) is not my cup of tea. I think it is good but, if you are a team that has real aspirations to win first leagues and champions leagues, so I think you need someone better than Kai Havertz to play this role central striker “said the former English international.

“He will do work, but I don't think he was as regular as he would have liked it. I just think there are better players ”, concluded Fowler.
